TomTom ONE Traffic POI freezes unit

I have just got a tomtom one traffic which replaces my tomtom one v2. When I install POIs in the UK & Ireland map folder, then go to navigate to post code or city the unit freezes. It will not let me navigate at all. If I re-install the map, it works fine again. Is this something to do with navcore 8, or the unit?

It's very unlikely to be the POIs which are freezing the unit.

Not sure what the problem is likely to be, but why are you completely re-installing the map, rather than just deleting the POIs that you have just installed?

How much space have you got left on the device? I don't suspect this is the problem, but it's an easy one to rule out initially!
