Hi
A mate has got a new 930 but it does not give voice directions only route directions on the screen no sound
I have had a go at changing the voice and a few other setting but to no avail, I can put the volume up to max and it will test OK also I can test any voice OK
I am sure something needs turning on but what?
Can anyone help?
Regards

There is an enable/disable voice option in the voice preferences menu. Have you tried that?
Have you tried switching between "real" and TTS voices?
Have you tried a reset? |

Andy thanks for the quick reply
I have enabled and disabled voices a couple of times and switched to TT voices but have not tried a reset (proberbly the first thing I should have done!)

Try checking the speaker preferences.
They can be set to output different features to different places - eg via the FM transmitter.
Worth checking that it isn't simply that the sound is being played but just not through the internal speaker. |

Good thinking that man...
There's always another place to look!
(Speaker preferences are quite deep down the preferences menu, about page 6 IIRC) |
