|

I've downloaded the full POI zip file from Garmin POI.co.uk (at http://MaFt.co.uk/garmin/?page=download) and stored it in a new file on my PC where it the different categories appear as a number of different folders.
I then created one further folder and called it 'Speed Cameras' into which I downloaded the Safety Camera data. I then downloaded all of these folders into the 760T where they appear to have loaded OK since all of the the different icons, including some traffic light symbols, now appear on screen.
However, when driving I see the various speed limit restrictions appearing on-screen along with a 'dong' sound, but I do not hear any spoken warnings when approaching or passing known speed camera locations.
I assume that it is actually possible for the 760T to 'speak' these warnings - can someone tell me where I am going wrong?
Many Thanks - Dave |

Hello Dave
I think that this the link that will get you started to put the voices on your nuvi, I did mine a while back and I think that a voice is much nicer than a " bing bing bong etc"

As you're not a subscriber, how did you get the safety camera data? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Well spotted Darren!
I'm setting up (or have been trying to set up) a 760 for someone else who DOES HAVE a subscription to the data base and who wishes to replace his old GPS with the 760. |

Fair enough, being an ex-copper I'm naturally suspicious ![Wink](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) _________________ Darren Griffin |
