OGG File for TT POI

Does anyone know how I could add an OGG file to a TomTom POI (ie - Golf Courses) I have a TT 520[/b]

Yes you can.
Any (short) audio file can be converted to the correct .ogg file format using an audio editor such as (free) Audacity. (Actually .wavs will work too, but they take up a lot more space. Mp3's won't though).

Then you just add it to the "sounds" folder on your 520 (if there isn't one just create it) and it will appear in the list of sound effects for you to select.
This will work regardless of whether it is an added POI category or one of the built-in ones.

But if you want a spoken alert, and you are using a Text to Speech voice, you can just type in your own alert message and the voice will read it out. It's all in the "warn when near POI" set-up pages.
