I've searched, but I can't seem to find a "How to" on how to do a full backup of a TT930T. I'm sure there must be one here somewhere. I've just purchased a 930, and I want to copy everything to the computer before I do anything else. Is all the data on the SD card, or is some on the device itself? Thanks |

Go to the FAQ Page and have a read through #1 by clicking Here All the data is stored internally on the devices built in flash memory, just connect it to the PC and you will find the device appears as another drive with its own letter in Windows Explorer.
If you are new to the TomTom device have a read through some of the FAQ's but perform the backup BEFORE doing anything else - Mike |

Hi SpikeUK
Yes, follow Mike’s advice concerning the backup and you wont go far wrong. Having a windows backup means that in the future what ever cock-up you may have made you will be able to restore back to the point when you made the backup. _________________ Tomtom Go 720.
