Hello,
To start with, I am not sure if this question is in the right forum, so if it is not, could the Powers That Be please move it to the relevant secion.
Onto my question,
I have an Ipaq 3970 and Navman 3450 GPS sleeve and am very pleased with my TomTom 3 street nav software. I was wondering if I can get some hillwalking/rambling software to use with my current setup ?
If so, any suggestions as to what is the best to use ? bearing in mind I mainly ramble about in the UK, but have been known to wander abroad, so worlwide maps would be a necessity.
Would I be able to have this software (if it exists) sitting quite happily with TomTom 3 on my Ipaq withoput causing any problems ? (obviously ony 1 would be running at any one time).

Memory-Map is a good place to start, indeed it is rebranded Memory-Map software that Navman provide with their topographical bundle. See our Topographical Section for reviews of this and others. _________________ Darren Griffin

For UK based rambling, look at MemoryMap. For the rest of the world there''s Oziexplorer (and other programs of htat kind) that lets you scan in your own maps and calibrate them , sometimes even on the pocketPC
As for the ""happily coexist"" - well, it''s not really happily, but it is possibly (sorry for the weak joke). You may need to use a different TomTom GPS driver. (details in the TomTom forum) . But then on the other hand that problem affects only BlueTooth connections - so you may actually end up happily using them on he same machine - as you said, one at a time. _________________ Lutz
