Please Help!! I downloaded the new icon sets and have tried all ways to get them to work. If I rename the icons (remove the X2) all I get is a red square on the screen. If I put both the 24 pixel and the 44 pixel in the map folder I do not get any change in icon size on the screen.

HOW DO YOU DO IT ----PLEASE

First, have you got the right device, right map and right application version to cope with them?

Both icon sizes can be used together, the .bmp for the onscreen icon where a camera resides, the X2 is used for the top left icon in the approach countdown. There is not a hugely noticeable difference in size, so you may be expecting wrongly here - the earlier icons were simply 22x22 pixels and the TT device used them for the roadside display and doubled them for the top left countdown icon. Gerry made these superb ones far clearer, less jagged and just a little bigger, the X2 one replaces the doubling of the smaller ones.

You don't "make" them work, they just do. You must be sure you have the right set for your camera set, of course, so looking at the folder in Win Explorer, you'll see either 3, or 4 files with identical names except for the extensions. I have four such files (I use the .ogg spoken warnings) for each of mine for example ...

pocketgps_uk_gatso_40.bmp
pocketgps_uk_gatso_40.ogg
pocketgps_uk_gatso_40.ov2
pocketgps_uk_gatso_40_X2.bmp

Look at yours very carefully to make sure they look like the above.
