Just taken receipt of PC Navigator 8 from Directions Ltd (of InfoMap Navigator fame and it looks quite good, good value at £49.99 for UK and £69.99 for EU too. The screen shots below are of the actual laptop display:

There are others, Garmin have a laptop solution as do CoPilot but they are both much more expensive. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Darren, I'm interested to know what you think of PC Navigator 8... I have the old InfoMap Navigator 4 but haven't used it in a while. Is it worth upgrading?
I've been using TomTom Navigator 6 on my Xda Exec and I'm trying to plan a car pc installation instead. Do you think it would be a good replacement for TomTom? How about Speed Cams? Can they be implemented as easily as they are with TomTom?
Thanks in advance. |
