maps 8xx on 720?

Hi.
I'm confused when I'm reading some posts
thinking about getting 720traffic
will I get the latest maps updating my tomtom?
will they work with "lane guide" feature ?
how people get the latest v8xx maps working on x20 tomtoms
if they're not released yet ?or am I wrong ?

The v8xx maps (which include lane guidance) are not yet released for the x20 range. Some people got hold of them by rather devious means, but TomTom stopped the loophole.

Right at this moment there is a special offer on maps which ends at the end of July, so most people are betting there will be new maps after that. I would imagine the next map sets will be the v8xx series for x20 range and anybody who buys a x20 now will benefit from Latest Map Guarantee.

All the above is pure speculation by me - I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING, so believe me at your own risk!!
