Simple question

My friend has a gps maus and he is using it with notebook. Now he wants to buy Ipaq 38xx instead of notebook. Is it possible to charge Ipaq meanwhile it is connected to GPS?

Goran,

most of the times the serial GPS receivers for the iPAQ come with a special Y-cable. This plugs into the cigarette lighter adapter, and then powers both the iPAQ and the GPS receiver, as well as providing the data connection from the receiver to the iPAQ.

If your friend's receiver comes with a standard plug (RJ11 for example) then you may be able to find the appropriate cable. Otherwise it is also possible to craft the cable yourself. The wiring schema is very simple.
