Hi
When you download and copy to 920T the latest speed cam data base, I take it that you don't copy the icons as well if you have loaded the high quality icons of GerryC's Speed Camera Icons, am I correct ??
Thx |

The HQ icons have a different Filename and won't be overwritten by anything in the Camera Download. _________________ Richard

If you already have icons and warnings that you're happy with, why not just select the speed cam files that have changed (OV2 or whichever you use) and copy those across?
That way, you'll know that icons, warnings and everything else won't change, but the location files WILL be updated.
Everybody has different preferences, but that works for me.
Find a system which works for you and stick with it. _________________ Andy

Oldboy's answer is STRICTLY true, but only half the story....
Gerry_Cs icons include a replacement for the standard sized ones and a matching "high quality"larger one to display in the top left corner of the screen.
The LARGE ones have a different file name so they won't get overwritten, but the small ones DO have the default name so will get lost if you copy them over from a new download.
Follow GPS_fans suggestion and ONLY copy and paste the .ov2 files. |
