Hi,
I have a TomtomOne XL which now says "Problem with map you can not use this map on this device: Western_Europe_1GB"
This has only happened since I did an up date on the Tomtom website, it worked Ok prior to this.
The unit works Ok with the Australian map I have!
Can any one be of assistance? |

There have been quite a few reports of this exact problem on the forums in the last 2 or 3 weeks.
As with all activation problems, there isn't usually much that you (or we) can do about it, the only people who can sort it out are TomTom themselves.
Ring them on 0845 161 0009
Monday - Friday: 08:00 to 18:30 GMT
(every first Wednesday of the month: 09:00 to 18:30 GMT)
and explain exactly the error message you are getting.
So far it seems to have been due to TT either assigning the right map to the wrong email account or the wrong map to the right one! |
