Hi I have a Nuvi 660FM, worked fine until recently. Now I it can't acquire any satellites and has absolutely no signal strength.

so my question is can it be repaired or do I need a new unit.

Thanks in advance and hope I have this thread in the right place.

Good morning dfor00, I have a couple of suggestions which are

a) Have you tried a master reset on the unit ?

I have been on the Garmin website and if you go into the common asked questions and filter down you will find the instructions on how to do this. I am not sure if you can cut and paste FAQ's from the Garmin site or not.

b) Is the unit fully charged ?

c) How old is the sat nav, if it's not very old then give Garmin a ring and ask them as to which way to go forward on this.

No doubt some one else will be along after me.

Hope this helps

Jerry
