Is there any method of clearing the "Recent Destinations" list from my "Navigate To" options? Not the folder itself - just the list! |

Yeah, Navigate to --Recent Destination and then hit the Delete button. You'll be asked whether you really want to do this. Say 'yes' and it deletes all of them.
(I don't have the unit in front of me so the wording may differ slightly from what I said, but you'll find the proper icon). |

I don't think you can delete Recent Destinations. However, it's a short list of around 20 places, and the older ones get overwriiten as new ones are added.
If you've got one you particularly want to lose, just try planning a few more routes until the one you don't want just drops off the end. |

Do you have a 'clear route' option? Also, do you have your unit set to show MORE menu options? |

"Clear route" certainly doesn't delete the recent destinations list, but I've just seen/noticed the "Delete" button dhn mentioned for the first time! (middle one of three on the recent destinations list page)
....and that does just what you want
If your version of software doesn't have it, you'll need to manually delete the MapSettings.cfg file in your map folder, but you'll lose your Home location, your Favourites and all your POI warning preferences too, so it depends just how desperate you are! |

Sheesh, that's old! It probably doesn't exist on v5... use the manual remove method in my previous post.
Any reason you haven't updated to v6 or v7? |
