NAVMAN. problems uploading database as acs file i want csv

very new to this please can someone help .... when downloading SPEED CAMERA DATABASE its saving as a acs file and i require csv file iam saving from the navman download page as recommended and extracting ok to temp file on pc but always saves as csa file. how can i change it to csv iam using NAVDESK 2008 WITH NAVMAN S80 many thanks ian

For ease, you can simply rename the .asc files to .csv ones. Otherwise, select "Other - CSV" instead of Navman.

Navman used to be able to use either, but they needed their .csv files in a non-standard format so I guess the selection was restricted to .asc in light of this. Then Navman changed again, allowing only .csv files (but using the standard format) unless you used a work around. Maybe we need to revisit this now.
