Your mp3s must be in a folder called mp3.
Then you go for ..
Music and Media
TomTom Jukebox
then select whatever.

And you can send it to the internal speaker, the line out socket or via FM or Bluetooth to a car radio etc.
That's selected in Change preferences (page 8) / Speaker preferences (page 2).
