Am having a problem trying to download the combined OV2 POI's. I select all the ones that I want, but when I click on download, I just get a blank screen.
I have tried selecting the link, and that does the same.
I can however download them as seperate files per category, but I want the combined version.. any ideas on how I can do this. |

Peculiar - I just tried downloading a selection of POIs as 'combined' and it worked fine, just like it did for individual downloads.
I was using Firefox - which browser are you using? _________________ Andy

There is an issue with certain categories, if the combined selection contains more than 20 (ish) entries as will happen with some downloads.
The answer is to download them in parts, take the "Food & Drink" category for example, select it as combined and it will fail, the trick is to download the file in a number of segments, each segment should contain 20 subcategories, you can select this by checking/ clearing the checkboxes attributable to each subcat.
With the files you have downloaded from the site you can then concatenate them into a single file using something like POIEdit to append the files thus producing a single file with the entire contents within it.
Which category are you having trouble with? - Mike |

Excellent Mike, thanks for the info .. had been driving me mad. All files downloaded and combined with POIEdit ..... which have to say is a nice bit of software as well. |
