Tomtom Traffic - which maps will it work on?

I have just got a new TYTN 2 which has tomtom supplied but only with a "free citymap" (the area it covers will actually be sufficent for 75% of my needs!) however I have a 8gb micro card on order, if I subscribe now with the citymap, will I be able to switch my old map of UK onto it and then recieve traffic for the whole of the uk ? Tomtom's site, implies it will only allow the map to be used on one system to get traffic, I had previously used it a year or so ago on another mobile, will it still allow me to get traffic ?

I would expect the Traffic information via GPRS is delivered as full country wide but without a full country map it wouldnt know where the incidents are (other than those actually on your map).

You should be able to use a different map for full country coverage as long as you can active it on the new device, then you will have full country Traffic information, would try the map idea BEFORE adding any subscription based services though - Mike
