i've seen elsewhere that tomtom has new maps out for download with a price tag of $69 and the addition of mapshare. in the past i've been offered upgrades for free + shipping or $50 +shipping. I'm wondering with the new maps is tomtom breaking away from it's upgrade policy? should i buy the new maps and mapshare or wait to see if there is an upgrade for tomtom 6 coming soon? thanks in advance. |

What hardware are you using? - if its TomTom Navigator then version 6 with a vs675 map is the latest you can get, if its a Go type device the very latest hardware is running version 8 software? - Mike |

Version 6 is the latest software for the PDA devices, what map are you running as the latest map version that will work with the navigator 6 software is 675?
I wouldn't be looking to pay too much for this though these days, as this is quite old and not worthy of updating to considering it is over 12 months old. - Mike |

Hi,
I'm a bit confused here. I have just had an email from TomTom with a large headline saying
New Maps - Out Today
and implying they are both brand new and available for TomTom Navigator V6
Are they telling lies! |
