Hello i purchased a satnav of ebay which is a Chinese model CPND-3505A
ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220207481885
I would like to know if any one else has this model and can i use any other gps software besides smart2go? can the operating system be unlocked WINCE 5? if so any solutions please or any other info would be greatfully appreciated.
Thanks for any help or suggestions. |

WINCE is a very cut down version of windows that only has the features / settings that the device manufacturer requires for their software to work. If you tried to install any other software on it then there is absolutely no guarantee that the WINCE features you need for the new software will be present.
To be honest though, by the time you've spent £62 for the device, £17.95 postage and anywhere between £50 - £100 on software you could have bought a Garmin nuvi 250 or TomTom One Europe, been £30 better off and been able to use the speed camera database 
PND's can be bought so cheap these days that it's not worth getting a device specifically to install different software on it!
