WHAT TO DOWNLOAD FROM SPEED CAMERA DATABASE,,GARMIN 760T

NEW MEMBER, HI,,

I HAVE RECENTLY BOUGHT A GARMIN NUVI 760T
I WOULD APPRECIATE SOME HELP IN LOADING THE CORRECT SPEED CAMERA/CAMERAS ON TO THE GPS. FOR UK AND IRELAND USE AT THE MOMENT..

IM NOT SURE WHAT TO DOWNLOAD (SINGLE FILE WITH ALL CAMMERAS) (CONSOLIDATED BY TYPE) (SPEED ZONED)

ALSO ARE THESE BEST USED BY PUTTING THEM ONTO AN SD CARD FIRST.

ALSO THE GARMIN HAS SOME POIs BANKS,HOSP, SHOPS ETC CAN THESE BE ADDED TO OR MUST THEY BE DELETED THEN NEW ONES ADDED..

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT,,THANKS

Hi and welcome.

1) Please stop SHOUTING

2) Personally i consider the Consolidated database to be the best format for the Nuvi range,

3) POIs and the speed cameras must be added all in one go. POILoader will delete any existing 3rd party POIs before adding any more.

Thanks for the fast reply ill give your suggestions a try.

Just reference the use of an SD card,do i need one,what could i use one for or will the garmin work just fine with all the info loaded on it..

The Nuvi will work fine without the SD Card. Mine does.... Wink

You can use it to store mp3, POIs and other data. It's just an expansion of the intrnal memory.
