When searching for custom POIs or Favourites that are "near my current route", the first page of information is just fine with the first four being listed. But scrolling down only alters the distance reported. the names stay the same. If you select one of these you do however get the POI it should have been.

This happens with custom POIs and Favourites but not with Garmin's own POIs.

Garmin have been unable to help and could only suggest that I re-booted it. I did, but nothing changed. Has anyone come across this before and is there a solution?

Using Nuvi 760 (now updated to latest version but this "bug" still remains)

I have seen this only once before - with Firmware 2.60. Scrolling down the four locations stayed the same but the distance / direction arrows altered. I rebooted the 760 and it worked fine.

I use a lot of POI files and have only seen this happen once and have never been able to replicate it. Does this only occur with one particular POI or are you selecting "All Categories"?

It happens on each catagory. (as long as there are more than four found) and it also happens when finding favourites. I have never seen it do anything else no matter how much or how little I have been searching for.

My POIs are loaded onto an SD card using POI Loader. But this problem was happening to my Favourites before I ever loaded any custom POIs.
My Favourites initially came from my old Streetpilot 2620 backed up using Mapsource and then downloaded to the Nuvi, also using Mapsource.

Re-booting has not made any difference. As this does not appear to be a common problem I guess I shall have to start investigating it and see if I can narrow down what might be causing this.

It is a shame that Garmin after requesting copies of my POIs could only suggest I re-boot. They made no further suggestions.
