POI categories are shown in German on my synchronization prog.
How do I download in English please.
Will I have to delete the German downloads? if so how?
Thanks, Michael. |

If this is for a TomTom (I believe POIWarner was for the TomTom?) it is totally unnecessary. Everything you need to install the camera data base and set up visual and audible alerts (real voice if you wish), can be done directly on the machine itself.
Instructions for devices with Text To Speech (910 and x20 devices) HERE
Other TomToms HERE
Voice alerts HERE (ignore the "old method" it is no longer used). |

Hospital did a good job!
Me and the database? Thats something els.
I did have some cameras showing but I think they were from
another database. Now they are gone.
Message on poiwarner while synchronisation says
"Error while transfer to device" ....Any ideas. Please?
Anyway getting a Mio c530t soon,
are they any easier to work with???

As I said above, you do not need POIWarner at all to use the database on a TomTom.
The relevant files are just copied straight onto the device using Windows copy and paste.
Full instructions in the links I posted above.
Glad to hear the important bits worked out OK though! |
