GO 700 maps on a GO 300

Hi
I have a 700 and have just got hold of an old 300. If I increase the size of the SD card can I copy the 700 maps (Folder) to the 300 SD Card.
If so, what needs to be copied.

If you copy the map folder from the 700 to a larger SD card it will only work if you activate the map, maps are locked to specific devices to prevent copying from one device to another. Unless the 700 is dead and TomTom are prepared to allow you to copy and activate a map you are not going to get this working - Mike

You could purchase a new map for the device though, currently the prices are:
Western_Europe £59:95
GB + ROI = £39:95

Or wait a while keeping your eye on the forum as from time to time TomTom offer discounted map prices, as soon as this happens someone will post about it - Mike
