I'm thinking of getting a Tomtom One (Have a GO700 now) But I have been told that you can't change the warning distance on POI's !!! Is this right? Apart from mainland europe and bluetooth are there any other major differences between the 700 and One.
Thanks guys

You can still alter the warnings for POI's on the TomTom One, if you get a One Third Edition there will be certain POI related menu's missing, these can be re-enabled by using a custom menu - if needed - Mike

Take a look at the One XL or the 520/720 instead.

The One no longer has an SD card slot, so you are limited to the size of the internal memory. If you buy a UK version, you will never be able to put a Europe map on it for example.
It is also missing the ability to add your own POIs directly on the unit and the Itinerary functions.
Both of those can be restored with a custom menu modification Mike referred to above, but you lose a couple of other menu items when you do that (Help me and Mapshare).

See Mike's review of it for the full story.
