I have got one fo these and its in 3d mode.
Can you change this to 2d more, or is it just 3d ?
I actually prefer 2d mode

Usually in the Settings, Map you can choose between 2D, 3D and North Up.
May be Tools, Settings, Map, Map View..... Not sure don't have a 2xx here. |

i have to say i am very disappointed with the garmin 250.
i borrow a cheap gps system off my friend. he got his 2 years ago and is not a recognsed make.
so i went out and bought myself a garmin 250 and its wick compared to my mates
very very slow in catching up.....i could have already made a turn and its still on the old road etc
also doesn't give all road names
very disappointing |

Two things......
It should keep up if following a route. If no route is planned then at each junction it has to determine which road you have taken. Because of the way these devices work (by locking your position to the centre of the road) you need to be several metres past a junction before it can be sure.
Also switching to 2D will speed things up considerably. _________________ Phil |
