Hi All.
I have downloaded and installed the Zoned camera database to TT One V3,indeed they do all show up in option "Show POI on Map ".In the section :- "Change Warning Preferences" only Fixed,Mobile,Redlight,Toll and restricted are showing which I preume is TT default camera databse.
I then read Mikealder,Moderator, post on the review of the V3 and how to Recover POI capability which I now need, this is where I come unstuck !!
I read the section How to Overcome these Omissions and have two problems,1.How do I create a new file?? I created a new Folder, which may be wrong but could not copy & paste the files Mikealder created into folder,I can copy but not paste.I created the folder first in My Documents and then tried creating the folder in the TT files,it was named correctly,TomTom.mnu.Must be doing something wrong.
The second thing I have been through all the TT folders and cannot even find a file called SdkRegistry. Is this a folder I have to create or hidden somewhere.I have also followed the advice on :-
In Windows Explorer click Tools/ Folder Options, View Tab and make sure "Hide Extensions for known file types " is NOT selected, while you are in there set Hdden Files and and folders to Show.
Ant help would be welcome.
Thank you

The bit of info you may be missing is that the TomTo.mnu file is a simple TEXT file, which you can make in any word processor, so long as you save it as plain text (most word processor programs add all sorts of extra bits of formatting which we don't want here.
The best program to use is "Notepad" on the PC because that saves simple text files by default.
So you need to open Notepad, copy those menu lines Mike gave into an empty window and then save it.
Notepad will always try to add the three letters ".txt" to the end of any file it saves AND your computer may be set up to hide this from you.
This can make it tricky to see that you have the name exactly right, so I suggest you save your new file as some OBVIOUS name on your desktop, lets say "doughnut"
Then, you open Windows Explorer,
Got to the 'Tools' menu, then 'Folder Options' and then the 'View' tab. Make sure "hide extensions from known file types" is NOT ticked (if it is, un-tick it).
Now, still in Explorer, you can browse to the desktop and find your new file, which will probably be called "doughnut.txt".
Right click on it and select "rename". Type "TomTom.mnu" (exactly that (but without the quotation marks!)) into the box and enter/return. Windows will probably throw up a message saying something like "if you change the extension of a file it may become unuseable. Do you really want to? Just say 'yes'.
Now you should have a correctly named menu file thet you can copy onto the TomTom.
