TomTom Home and processor utilisation

Really going for it with the posts!

Been storing the problems up!!

Wondered if someone could explain this for me.

Two days ago TT Home slowed down.

When i connect the device and tt home appears, then i select internal memory.

Next TT home looks for the updates, this is where it hangs, it hangs for about 5 minutes and the processor is fully utilised.

When I check what the processor is doing it is being used by XUL Runner.

After about 5 mins the updates appear and on I go.

Not a major problem I know, but annoying non the less!

Could someone explain why this has started please.

FYI:

No new things added have not messed with memory cards e.t.c and tried re-installing home.

just wanted to update.

The XL Runner thing is doing it when i use other features on home too such as add sounds and other things, it hangs while its loading the content up.

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
Have you considered making a donation towards website running costs?.
Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
