After downloading an update of Mapshare and gpsfix from Home to my TTG520, the flashing "RED X do not remove TTG" continued to flash along with both icons for TTG internal memory and SD card. After 10 minutes I removed the unit and, glad to say, it worked fine. Plugged in again and the flashing was still there so I did a reset, but to no avail. What has happened and how do I fix it, Please ?????

What computer OS are you using? Have you updated via home successfully in the past?

I have had a senior moment. The RED X doesn't flash, it's the 2 icons for internal memory and SD card that flash continually whilst the RED X is still. It is still there today after further download of Mapshare and Quickfix.

That means 'don't remove I'm doing something'.

If you use Safely Remove Hardware, or Disconnect Device, it should finish it's task and cause the unit to reboot.
