Speed Camera Database on Garmin 250W

I have recently downloaded and installed the Safety Camera Database on my new Garmin nuvi 250W without problems. What is the simplest and easiest way to keep it updated ? Thanks for any help.

Hi and welcome.

The process is simple. Just re-download the new database, unzip it to the POILoader upload folder on your PC and use POILoader to load it to your Nuvi as you did before.

If you downloaded the same type of database as before it'll overwrite the old files. If you decide to use a new type of database you'll need to delete the old files from your PC first.

POILoader automatically wipes out all POIs (inc the Speed Camera Database) before loading the new files so if you also added Petrol Stations, Supermarkets etc you need to make sure these are in the same folder with the Speed Cameras first and upload the lot in one go.
