Rolling Eyes Being new to tomtom i was wondering what the claim of my 520 being future proof means! Sounds a stupid question i know but is it just the map share or when the x30 series gets launched soon will the firmware on my unit get updated too? e.g the new junction layout, and ingelligent routing. Navman updated the firmware but only fixed bugs with current platform! and maybe i minor additional option. But on the add spiel for the 520 it does state future proof! thanks in advance.

TT has so far upgraded all it's GO series to be as near to the latest UI as possible within the scope of the hardware it's installed on.

Things like the Classic GO not having Speech Recognition. Because it doesn't have a built in microphone.
