Welcome to the forum
I don't know which versions are shown, possibly 5 or 6, but the difference I can see between the two is that the first one shows a split screen with 2 views, whereas the second is showing just the 3D view. The view you get is changed in the settings menu under display I think.
Check the VM website out and look at the downloadable manuals for your unit.
Other than that the brighter sparks will be along to help soon I'm sure _________________ Mike

I'm struggling a bit here, too..However, on looking on the VM site I see that there are two patches available for your unit (supposing it is X950 and not X950T). The patch numbers are 2800 for version six -- 6.5.4 and 2801 for version five --5.0.10.
To find you version from the Main menu, go to 'Options', then 'General' then 'About'.
If you look at the patches and click on each in turn, it will detail exactly what the patch will do to your device.

Hi,
Just tap the section of the screen that is showing the route, the screen will then display the full mapping route. To go back to the split screen tap the top left hand square showing the details of the next turn. You need to be in Navigation mode for this to work.
Let me know how you get on.
