| Slow down, lets start with a simple one, what is wrong with the One XL, and can it be seen by the PC when you connect it - does it appear in Windows Explorer as a removable drive and if so can you see any files/ folders on it - Mike |

yes but i have delete the all the file in side the tomtom xl and the tomtom wont com up, and i have not back it up dam me. any help |

Its a hard lesson to learn the way you have taken, but a back up is vital, the map is locked to the device so another backup from a different device is of no use.
How old is the unit? - if its a matter of days old take it back to the retailer and simply claim it doesn't work, otherwise you will need to talk to TomTom Support - assuming you are UK based the number is 0845 161 0009 - Mike |

i have taking it back and the talling me costing me, i give call tomorow see what goning to hapen whit tomtom support. yhx my8 for your help |
