TomTom6 on a Nokia N96-8g

Hi all

Is it possible to run TT6 on the N95-8g.

If yes did you have to change anything to get it to run.

I know it will only work with a BT GPS Device but did you have to do anything else.

Did it see the maps even though they are on the 8g card and not the phone memory.

You will need to have TT6 Symbian Version (S60r3).

Plug in the N95 8gb. Select Data Transfer NOT PC Suite.

You then have a drive id allocated by Windows. Run TomTom Home on your PC and select this drive to install the software to.

It works well (better than on the N80). You can also copy over all the POI's you had before as well.

The only downside is that they has been no patching for this release at all. There seems to be no version 7 in the pipeline,even though it has been released on the "TomTom Hardware" products.

Make sure you know your product ids (maps etc) before transferring. You will need to register them again.
