Well, Already Made a Purchase...

I guess I kinda' jumped the gun, but it could've been worse; I was in the local Radio Shack store buying some parts and happened to hear someone talking to the salesperson about a unit; I was going to purchase one of their units, which go on sale Sunday, but I wound up purchasing a Garmin 660 Nuvi at a pretty fair price from the comparison shopping I did.
What I'd like to know, that I'm sure 'they' don't tell new customers, is what other items I'll need to purchase. This is to be a dedicated GPS unit, US only.
Supposedly it's loaded with the US maps, but it's pretty obvious that the SD slot isn't there for looks.
Any comments appreciated, and nice being here.

You won't need anything else, it will work fine out of the box.

The SD card slot is for additional maps (e.g. there's a big place called Europe )

You can buy a TMC aerial for traffic delay news updates and things like external microphones for the hands-free, if the internal one if not close enough or you're vehicle is very noisy, and external GPS aerial if you have a windscreen that kills the satellite signals (unlikely with latest generation receiver chips).
