Welcome to the forum Welcome

Do you need to unzip the?

If they downloaded as a .zip file, you will need to unzip this to get the .rar file which you indicate would be recognised since this is the format of your working maps

What are these "three different versions"?
Where did they come from?

If you are running TomTom, the only maps you can run are from TomTom themselves.

A couple of interesting posts on a forum I came across:
http://forums.ebuyer.com/showthread.php?p=117364
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/125129

The second one mentions European mapping, but I'd assume that's for units running the default software.

The actual "MyGuide" website http://www.myguidegps.com/main/home/ is pretty poor, although their "FAQs" are quite a laugh!

I put my 3000 off and if I switch it on then he lost the time. Whats going on?

There is no pufferbattery in the device and it is normal. Normaly it should be syncronize the correct time from the gps-signal.

The system is faulty, can I bring them back to the store and I want my money back …

We can't promise that you got your money back.

Would you mind saying where you got these maps from as they require activation, so it could be the activation that is causing the problem? - Mike

If by 'downloaded' you mean pirate then the discussion ends here. We take a very firm line on piracy and assisting you in getting such maps working is not something we are going to do.
