Welcome to the forum
Do you need to unzip the?
If they downloaded as a .zip file, you will need to unzip this to get the .rar file which you indicate would be recognised since this is the format of your working maps _________________ Andy

What are these "three different versions"?
Where did they come from?
If you are running TomTom, the only maps you can run are from TomTom themselves.
A couple of interesting posts on a forum I came across:
http://forums.ebuyer.com/showthread.php?p=117364
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/125129
The second one mentions European mapping, but I'd assume that's for units running the default software.
The actual "MyGuide" website http://www.myguidegps.com/main/home/ is pretty poor, although their "FAQs" are quite a laugh!

There is no pufferbattery in the device and it is normal. Normaly it should be syncronize the correct time from the gps-signal.
The system is faulty, can I bring them back to the store and I want my money back …
We can't promise that you got your money back. |

Would you mind saying where you got these maps from as they require activation, so it could be the activation that is causing the problem? - Mike |

If by 'downloaded' you mean pirate then the discussion ends here. We take a very firm line on piracy and assisting you in getting such maps working is not something we are going to do. _________________ Darren Griffin |
