Hi All
is it possible to only download verified map corrections and if so how? I have looked every where on Home and can not see an option.
Thanks |

Hi Howie, Get your device and enter into the menu. on the 2nd page you will see map corrections, hit the icon and you will now see 3 more icons, hit the correction preferences and a list of options appear untick all except verified by TomTom.
Bear in mind Howie, verified by TomTom should be taken as "untrusted". |

You do it on the TomTom itself.
In fact they are ALL downloaded, but you are deciding whether to USE the different categories of corrections rather than deciding which to download.
Go to Main menu page 2 "Map Corrections" /Correction Preferences and you will see the whole list of options.
Be aware though that "verified by TomTom" MIGHT not be the safest option! Two of the biggest mistakes I've seen (Blocking a few hundred yards of the main A40 into London was one of them) were "Verified by TomTom"!
So some of the other choices like "reported by many" could be a more safe bet....
EDIT: Sorry GoGo910 our posts crossed... |

No probs Andy, it's strange though that we should both feel this way about TomTom.
Can't for the life of me, understand why. |
