What is the difference between the brodit mini move clip and the brodit large move clip ??
I have searched but cannot find any explanation of the difference apart from size and no information when a large move clip would be used in preference to a mini move clip!!
Which would be more suitable to use with a Tomtom 520 on a active mount
I had read the review on the Brodit system on this web site and it was very helpful

Many thanks for your help

Size is the only difference. In fact I think it is only the width that is different.
I had a wide one for the Brodit Go300 mount and can measure it if you want, but a call to http://www.dsldevelopments.com/ might be the easiest answer. They are very helpful.

Thanks Andy for your reply

I did order from dsl developments and I am awaiting stock to come in !! I spoke to a lady in the office as I think Dave( I think she said Dave) was not about and she said the mini was a bit neater but thought any feed back from a user would be useful.

Anyway thanks for your response

I've only ever used the standard move clip and it is more than is needed fo a device the size and weight of a 520. I would suspect a mini move clip would be more than up to the job.

I think your judgement may on how your fixing it, I picked the the larger one because (a) it was the same size as my universal joint plate and (b) it is thicker and and allowed the countersunk fixing screws to fit flush.I also thought it was a more substantial fit with the angled slide sides being longer. for a mio 168 by the way
