speed camera warning sounds

wonder if anybody can help just upgraded from tomtom go classic to a new tomtom 720 t copied all ov2 bitmats and sound/ogg files and placed them in map on new 720 t but all i get is origional tomtom sounds!!
also i wonder if anyone can tell me why i cant access car preffrences menu in tomtom 720 t

Graham, the greyed out car preferences icon is normal, non of us have seen what that can do yet, perhaps it will be enabled at some future point by a software update - who knows?

As for spoken camera alerts, firstly have you fullu backed up the device to the PC preferably using Windows Explorer - if not please do ASAP, for the spoken alerts have a look at the set-up guide on the FAQ page Here which details exactly what to do - Mike
