i bought a tomtom 720 couple of weeks ago,(excellent bit of kit)now am thinking of changing my car to one that has tinted windscreen,will this tint cause a problem with the satalite signal,if so is there anything i can buy to get around this problem.hope someone can help

Welcome to the forum, tinted glass doesn't affect the signal reception, athermic glass will attenuate the signal but the 720 has a decent GPS chipset in it that should still work - I would try it in the car and see how it behaves, if need be you could fit an external aerial but it shouldn't be needed - Mike |
