My TT is locking up on every journey. I cannot turn it off and can only reset it via the reset button at the bottom. This is becoming very frustrating as I have to pull over to do this.
Has anyone any ideas why this is happening? Is there a solution. Thanks in advance. |

Have you added anything to it, or is it as 'out of the box'?
Which XL do you have? The Europe or the Regional?
Are you using an SD Card?
When it locks up is it just Navigating, and part way through a journey?
Did you do a Day 1 Full Backup?
Sorry for all the questions, but it will help us to get started.

Nothing added- straight out of box
XL GB
The original SD card
Navigating
No back up.
App 6.594 and still running HOME 1 off the CD
GPS v1.21 Boot 5.30

The first thing is to do a Full Backup - see #1 on the FAQs Page.
You'll need the backup because it will be the only copy of the Map you'll have.
If you've not added anything it will be running off the internal memory.
While you are doing the Backup check, with Explorer, how much free memory you have on the Device. Right Click the Drive and Select Properties.
