SD card for TT ONE XL Europe

My new TT ONE (when I get it repaired) accepts a SD card. What is the largest card I can use in it? I know that the internal memory is lost when a card is inserted so I need to be able to hold the (almost) 1GB of maps etc that come on the TT plus all the POIs etc that I'll need to add. (I was surprised to find that I was directed to a petrol station 130 miles away and similar strange directions.)

My New Year's resolution means that I'm not allowed to say "use the search button above" so I'll quickly say TT reckon 2GB is the max size, but at least two brands of 4GB card are known to work, but they MUST NOT be "SDHC" technology (most 4GB cards *are* SDHC).
