I have bought some original Navman USA maps for my icn 520 on e-bay. When I try to download them there is a message that they are licensed to another machine. Is there any way I can download them to my Navman? Many thanks Tony |

Mmmm! Dodgy...but you could try contacting Navman saying you bought them in good faith etc and see if they can help you. Like other software, the original buyer bought them and licenced them to himself and his device. He cannot sell on the licence for the software which he might still be using.

Did he give you the original cds and cases with the cd key printed on? If you have the key then I think you have the right to use them, then definatly contact Navman. However if you have only been given a scrappy note of the cd key then you are on dodgy ground!

Many thanks. The CDS are in their original packaging with codes so might try Navman. |

According to jetskidia in this thread you just have to contact NavMan and they'll transfer the license for free.... |
