--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have just upgraded my Tom Tom Go 300 to the latest software (7.162), downloaded a new map, and am now experiencing the same problem as others have experinced with different versions. No sign of my POIs!

I have tried using Explorer to copy them into the new map folder and they are all there, but Tom Tom cannot "see" them. When I go in to "Manage POIs" half of the icons are greyed out too. Nightmare! Any solutions anyone? I have even tried re-downloading the POIs and saving them in the map folder again. Nothing.

I have raised the issue with Tom Tom support and so far they have been of no help - the full postcode search doesn't work either. I am considering going back to my old software and maps!

How many map folders are on your device? - if its more than one please make sure the POI files are in both map folders, then make sure you have selected the new map (Change Preferences/ Manage Maps/ Switch Map)
The newer software supports upto 300 Custom POI categories for the x20 range, for the older models I am not too sure how many POI categories it will support, how many files with the extension .ov2 are there in your map folder?
For the postcode problem is there a folder called zip on the memory card? and if so is there anything in it? - Mike
