Hi there.
I have recently lost my Tomtom Nav 3 install on my ipaq 3970.
I have reinstalled and put the speed camera db back on again, but now when i get near to a speed camara, the screen displays the pgps notifcation, but no longer displays the speed rating of the camera
Anyone got any ideas? I have tried the single file and the multiple files both react the same

Have you also re-installed CheckPOI and configured it as this is the add on you need for warnings when using TTN3, for true speed related warnings you need the speed zoned as Tanda pointed out.
If you need spoken voice alerts for CheckPOI they must be in wav format. You can download the spoken camera warning packs for the later versions which are available on this forum, then convert the files from ogg to wav using Audacity on the PC - Mike
Thanks for the info, i think i have done both of them,
I have got the voice bits working, just not the speed rating.
Tanda mentioned the speed Zoned database, take it that some of the files are in the pocketgps_uk_gatso_20.bmp and pocketgps_uk_pmobile_50.ov2 format?
thanks

Lets start again, the camera database is a collection of camera positions, all 3 databases have the same camera's, its just the way the camera's are displayed that is different.
The single file is a single file that tells you a camera is ahead.
The consolidated is about 5 files that tell you a mobile, or gatso etc is ahead.
The speed zoned is about 25 files that tell you a mobile at 30mph, or a gatso at 50mph is ahead.
Decide what you want, in your case, the speed zoned, download it, unzip it, in there, will be about 25 OV2 files, (The Database), and 25 bmp files, (The icons). These are the files you need. If you have any other speed camers files, or icon file, I would delete them, and start again. _________________ Audi A3 Sline sat nav
