Hi,can u help please,I am new to this so go easy guys.
I just bought a TomTom One 3rd edition with uk map and would like to download map of western europe.on the bottom of my tomtom it says it has 512mb and the europe map has a 953mb size.I am I missing somthing .Thanks |

Unfortunately you won't be able to fit the Europe Map on the Unit as there is only the Internal Memory of 512MB, and no SD Card facility.
The Unit you bought has only enough memory for a single country Map.

| Thanks,The only thing is I bought it from QVC the shopping channel and when I spoke to them,they said I could put a europe map on it.Also the tomtom site sells maps for that model.It's just I can't see how it would work.I will contact qvc and tomtom thanks for your help. |

There are 2 models of the 3rd Edition.
The Europe Version has 1GB of memory to enable the inclusion of the Western Europe Map.

I looked at that when it was on QVC and it was advertised as being UK & Ireland only, hence I didn't order it. Don't rely on information given by QVC staff on the phone they know as much as PCWorld staff, zilch. Get them to put you through to the studio when the bird from TomTom was on there and she would have explained it better.

Be quick he is only showing one left although last time he run out he advertised more. I bought one and it arrived in 24hrs and it was cheaper than QVC.
