I have been using the TomTom traffic trial for a couple of weeks with a Motorola V360 on T-Mobile PAYG with 10GBP of credit. Sometimes it would connect with the traffic server with no problems (updating every 15mins) - it might work for up to 10hrs (with breaks) at a time - Other times I could go for a couple of hours without a connection. When the credit was nearly down to zero I swapped over to Vodafone PAYG using the same phone. Initialy I had problems connecting, but once I changed the connection settings in my TT One V1 from Voda contract to PAYG all was well, it connects every time and updates every 15mins no problem... Wonder if others have found the same with Voda and T-Mob ???
As for the accuracy of the reported delay times by traffic.... Some are well OTT.

Could it be down to network coverage? Vodafone have better coverage than T-mobile in my experience. I am using TT traffic through Voda on PAYG and it works well. |

Possibly, but I tend to think it might be a T-Mobile network capacity problem..
For instance, on Monday I could drive from London to Manchester using the M40, M42, M6 etc and receive Traffic updates every 15mins. But on Tuesday I travel the same route and for the majority of the journey nothing, despite cycling both the phone and TomTom Off and On a few time during the trip..
