TOMTOM FOR TUNGSTEN T3; MOUSE OR BT?

I'm thinking of getting the recently released tomtom for Palm TT3.
The difference between getting the mouse/wired version as against the BT version is almost £100 8O.
Apart from the apparent advantage of having a wireless(almost) system with the BT, is/are there any significant advantages that BT GPS has over the mouse alternative?

- BT receiver has it's own power supply
- you can use it outside of the car
- you can use it with a notebook or a smartphone as well
