Hi All
I wonder if anyone could please help. Im looking for a new Bluetooth GPS device to use with my Tom Tom Software and Axim X51v. Im also interested in using it with my laptop (also Bluetooth capable)

I currently have a Royaltek Datalogger which has served me well but has started to do some strange things (like only managing to find a fix when the car is going really slow, even though I have added an external antennae)

Im due to Honeymoon driving around France and Switzerland in January and need to be able to rely on the device to work well.

My requirements are :

Bluetooth capable
Datalogger (though this can be forgotten if it is to the detriment of the signal)
Preferably something that might be able to allow me to plot my coordinates into Google Earth (though again i would prefer a device that can keep me on track rather than dropping the signal if it means not having this)

There seem to be so many different devices out there that it is a minefield trying to choose one, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Try this device

It has a sensitive MTK chipset and would seem to fit the bill.

Or this one which has a removable SD card for additional capacity. It has the SiRF III chip set - another high sensitivity design.
