Can anyone help me please.
I was using the latest map guarantee, when we suffered a power drop, albeit for a split second.
Ever since I can't get it to do a LMG, nor can I get it to do a restore, it comes up with an error about the memory card. If I disconnect then it boots up with no maps available & I'm unable to access any functions.
Can anyone help me solve my problems.

Don't worry, problem solved, it seems it didn't like the memory card which may have been corrupted when the power dropped for that moment. |

Yes I do need help!
I've updated the map & the maps have now disappeared, so all I get is no map found message. |

A Ha! Just found the main app was missing!
Where it disappeared to I don't know.
Just reinstalled it now & it seems to be working, just copying the internal drives contents over to the memory card now to see if all is well.
Cheers Dennis for that pointer. |

And now do a full Windows Explorer backup, like you shudder done before you got into this LMG etc updating game. Then you'll solve this and loads of other problems twice before breakfast. _________________ Dennis

I did do an explorer back up but it didn't work as the 750 took a severe disliking to my memory card, a 4Gb Cl.4 Kingston.
So in the end I had to reformat it (twice) and then try again. I'm still downloading the second zone of the EU map & getting ready to install that on the memory card.
I object to having zones as the map I had originally was a complete EU one! |

Search the forum for details on how to get the full map instead.
Briefly, you need to re-install your OLD map onto a large enough SD card for the new map. Then connect to Home and it should offer you the single, complete map. |
